Race: Asian (Indian) Gender: Male SAT I: 2010 - Math 720, Reading 670, Writing 620 Essay: 8 (I know this should improve, will be retaking in November.) Taking SAT IIs - Math II and Chem in October. IB Predicteds: HL Economics 7, HL Business and Management 7, HL Mathematics 6, SL Chemistry 7, SL English 5, SL French Ab. Initio 7, Bonus Points: 2 IB Total: 41/45. Academic Awards: - Silver Award Winner - UK Senior Math Challenge - 4 years Gold Medallist and member of the Advanced Student Honor Roll in the Japanese Math program, Kumon. - Principals' Award Winner 2009-2010 ( Awarded Academic Merit awards in 7 subjects.) - Academic Merit Award Winner for achieving the top rank in two subjects 2008-2009. - Academic Merit Excellence Award for achieving the top rank overall in school. 2007-2008 Extra-curriculars: 1. Model United Nations for 4 years: Chair Security Council, Assistant Preasident - Special Conference, Chair - General Assembly 1, Deputy Chair - General Assembly 6, Nominated Best Speaker - General Assembly 2 ( Economic and Financial Committee) 2. Student Government - Chief Treasurer and Leader of Fundraising Committee. 3. Debating Team - Captain and Member for 5 years. Awarded Best Speaker on 7 occasions 4. Internship - Spent 2 weeks at a consultancy firm in India, providing assistance in the financial side, balancing and auditing accounts and reviewing the budget. 5. Vice-Captain of the U-19 School Cricket team and formerly a member of the country's National Team. Awarded Most Improved Player for the year 2009-2010, Earned most wickets for the calender year. 6. Volunteer Leader at the Institute of Mental Health, organizing and participating in activities with the mentally challenged. 7. Math Peer Tutor at School and also tutor at a local children welfare home which assists the homeless to get educated. 8. Member of the Indian folk dance troop in school and learned the skill only this year after hours of practice. 9. Volunteered at the public library as an assistant and book-keeper last summer. Apart from these some minor ones include Frisbee Club, Weight Training Club, PE Service Club where I didn't hold any major positions.
